Event In Focus: 13th ToyCon 2014

I first discovered the event thru Facebook (I think it was an ad) and eventually thru television. For someone who loves action figures and model kits, I surely wouldn't let this event slip!

And so I went there....

The 13th ToyCon 2014 (or The Philippine Toys, Hobbies and Collectibles Convention 2014 if you want the longer version of it) is a three day event that happened last June 20-22 at the SM Megamall Megatrade Hall. It caters merchants of collectible figures (palm to life-size), model kits, cosplay materials, several online games and not-so related items. Besides that, you will also enjoy gazing at the cosplayers (not to mention some hot promo girls) who are ever so eager to pose on camera!

Entrance fee: Php 130.00 only.

Feeling the urge to eat? Food stalls are here to fill you up!

Commemorative shirts are also available with various designs to choose from.

Merchandise ranges from Japanese-related influences such as manga and anime, games; Western-related influences such as comic book heroes, movie-related such as Star Wars and Aliens both new and second-hand at reasonable and bargain prices. Feeling your growling stomach? The venue also serves snacks and meals for the ever so hungry aficionado. Batman’s 75th Anniversary and Rurouni Kenshin live action movie also finds it way at the event.
